George's Mini|
Needless to say, John, Paul, George and Ringo are great artists. Because they were the members of The Beatles. Objectively speaking, The Beatles is a big part of the great music history, isn't it? However, yesterday George Harrison sprang closely and vividly to life for me for the very first time. I believe my experience was a kind of revelation! That's because I saw "Living In The Material World", the documentary film on George, directed by Martin Scorsese. Oh, our sweet George! His music, his life, and his soul never belong to the past. He's still with us all. I suppose I finally understood that deeply, thanks to the film that also told his various backgrounds. Now I'm a great George Harrison fan really! I'm falling in love even with his psychedelically decorated Mini, his favorite car in the 60's!
Have you already seen "Living In the Material World"? It's something that has to be seen to be believed anyway, and I think it's a great film absolutely. On this very long film that also contains so many rare and precious private footage, I suppose, some clever critics say proudly it's well composed. But I give prominence definitely to the fact Martin Scorsese is a big fan of George. So to say, this is a beautiful, educational and enlightening film made by a fantastic fan. The film that tells enough about all on George even to me too who don't know the 60's and the 70's, that's "Living In The Material World". I do ask the John or Paul fans to watch George more! Of course, the film must also make much content to the Eric Clapton fans, the Indian music lovers and those who are interested in the spiritual things. Highly recommended film!
One thing I want to add lastly, by the way. Now I envy a little those who have been The Beatles manias since the 60's...
